The industry, like many others, was severely impacted and came to a screeching halt. From there I was put on furlough for a few months which eventually led to a permanent layoff. After 17 year with the same company I found myself without a job and contemplating my career. While COVID and layoff impacted me short term it blossomed into a significant opportunity for my career long term.
After some time to contemplate my career I decided that in the next chapter of my life I wanted the freedom to work for myself.
